Societies & Clubs

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The NSS Unit of Guru Nanak Dev University College, Pathankot, is actively engaged in youth and community development by encouraging students to participate in government-led service programs. The department provides hands-on experience in community service, fostering a spirit of social responsibility among students. Guru Nanak Dev University has approved one NSS unit for this college, which is committed to giving back to the community through service-learning programs and outreach projects. Under the commendable leadership of Principal Dr. Arpana, the NSS department has adopted Sionty village, Pathankot, where students have made a meaningful impact through their voluntary efforts. Key initiatives undertaken by the college include: Six one-day camp, one seven days camp One blood donation camp, Two awareness rallies, and Celebration of 15 national and international days. Additionally, the college organizes seminars, plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns (Safai Abhiyan), and other community engagement activities to promote intellectual and social growth among students. The NSS department provides a holistic environment, helping students excel in academics, cultural activities, and social service, while fostering values of brotherhood, compassion, and community engagement.

Eco-Club Society

The Eco-Club at GNDU College Pathankot is a student-driven initiative committed to promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices on campus and in the community. Through activities like tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, and eco-awareness workshops, the club encourages students to become environmentally responsible citizens. It fosters a spirit of conservation and inspires collective action towards a greener future. literary skills.

Medical Room

The College has an infirmary with requisite medicines and medical apparatus. The students are provided first aid during emergency. The college too has a Counseling cell where the students with emotional difficulties are listened to and counseled.

Timing: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

Canteen

The cafeteria housed amid green surroundings is a place of buzz. Catering to the needs of students, it provides delicious food items to the students. The hygiene and health are given paramount importance.

Location: Central Campus Area

Timing: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday-Saturday)

Common Room

The College has a common room where the students sit, study and eat their tiffins during their free periods.

Location: First Floor, Main Building

Facilities: Indoor games, newspapers, magazines, TV

Anti-Ragging Cell

Zero tolerance policy against ragging

The college has a dedicated Anti-Ragging Cell to ensure a ragging-free campus environment. Any form of ragging is strictly prohibited and punishable as per UGC regulations.
